Now more than ever, the Utah Pride Center is a center for the community. In the struggle for equality and respect for the GLBT community, the Center is playing a vital role even as same-sex marriage, parental rights, and other social justice issues remain at the heart of the fight. To combat such personal and political issues, the Center offers a place to gather, to learn, to advocate, and to celebrate our community.
To continue on our road towards progressive change, we need your financial support. Here are some ways that you can help us accomplish our mission.
- Donate Now. Your donation supports vital programs and services for members of the GLBT community. Donate online or mail a check payable to the Utah Pride Center, 355 North 300 West, 1st Floor, Salt Lake City, UT 84103.
- Give a Gift in Your Loved One’s Name. Or honor them with a gift and we will send your friends or family a letter describing your thoughtfulness.
- Facebook Cause. Show your support for the Utah Pride Center by joining our Facebook cause and donate securely as you stay in touch with your friends! While you’re at it, become a fan!
- Ask for a Gift to the Center in Your Name. Ask your friends and colleagues to donate to the Center in honor of your birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion. Throw a house party or organize a holiday gathering and ask that a donation be made to the Center in lieu of gifts.
- Enroll in Your Employer’s Matching Gift Program. Many employers provide matching gifts for their employees’ charitable donations. Contact your personnel or human resources staff to find out if your company has a program and to get the forms to double or triple your donation to the Center.
- Participate in Your Workplace Campaign. If your employer has a charitable giving campaign where donations are deducted from your paycheck before taxes, you can designate your funds for the Center. All year long, your gift will help us provide a safe place for our community. - Sponsor an event. The Utah Pride Center hosts four events throughout the year that you can sponsor (Queer Prom, Utah Pride Festival, Center Golf Classic Tournament, and National Coming Out Day). - Make the Center Part of Your Planned Giving. Include The Center in your will, or name the Center as a beneficiary of your retirement plans or insurance policies.
